We are headed down to Charleston SC in a couple of weeks and need some ideas on where to stay (reasonably priced B&B's if possible) and what your favorite boxes are in the area are.

This will be are very first time to the area so we are clueless as where to start.

Thanks for any suggestions that you have to offer.

I was just down there last weekend. I didn't get much of a chance to box, but did find the Angel Oak box which is outside of Charleston. Great box, great attraction! If you go there, go to the Tea Plantation as well.

Downtown Charleston is beautiful!! You also have Cypress Gardens just outside of Charleston in Moncks Corner. Charlestown Landing, the USS Yorktown, Hunley exhibit, etc.

Great place to visit!! Boxes are just gravy!

I second what karmakat says. Visit the Angel Oak and the tea plantation if you possibly can. The Angel Oak box is fantastic.
